Hawaii

It is already 5 month ago, when I left Hawaii to explore and travel more in this beautiful big world. And even if I saw already so many beautiful places, I think Hawaii will always be my favorite. I want to show you and explain, why it is totally worth it to fly so long and to spend so much money to see this awesome, beautiful and absolutely gorgeous nature wonder..

The beaches:
Look at this beach! Hawaii has two of these awesome beaches (one in Kauai and one in Big Island). It's just awsome to see ! Hawaii also has a glas sand beach, beaches who are perfekt for surfing, beaches with waves who are too small for surfing, too big for swiming, but perfect for playing in the waves. Hawaii has beaches famous for turtles, famous for sunsets and of course...



Famous for perfect colour water and perfection. Just stunning! (Lanikai beach)


I've never seen so many beautiful and perfect sunsets like in Hawaii. Pretty sure once a week you can see a beautiful sunset sky!

What I probably love the most in Hawaii: hiking. So many different hikes, so many different views, so many beautiful mountains. It is not always easy, sometimes dangerous and illegal. But always worth it to climp up a mountain in Hawaii.

Also the sunrises are almost always beautiful too. Specially over the clouds at 4 am in Maui on the Haleakala vulcano. I will never forget this perfect moment !
I was sleeping in the car the night before, without a mattress, in the dark, over the clouds. When my friend and I came out of the car the next morning we were just freezing. We didn't think about that it must be cold outside above the clouds so we just had pants on.. with 4°...


Nature ! Hawaii is tropical and has so many beautiful nature places. I saw my first waterfall in Hawaii and probably 100 more. This one is my favorite.. the three bears waterfall in Maui.


Probably not for everyone so important, but for me: SEATURTLES! I just love these little guy's. They're my favorite animals, because they always remind me on my perfect time in Hawaii. I was able to sit at the beach with 15 other turtles und I swom with around 8 turtles in the water. Just an awesome experience!


Magic moments. Hawaii is a special magic place with so many "wow" moments.. it is just not possible to not enjoy your time there. This magic moment is in Koolina when I was out for a date night. I can't describe this beautiful evening with sunset at the beach and candlelight dinner.

My life as an Au Pair

Since I am 12 years old I wanted to go to the United States for at least one year to explore a part of this world and live the American way of life. Usually I wanted to go to high school, but since this is so expensive I decided to go as an Au Pair. Specially for me it was pretty cheap. I have two educations with children already, what means that I have to pay less for the agenty and that I get more money from my host family.  So I got my way to United States and my dream came closer. I´ve got everything ready for my application, what is really a lot, and than I just had to wait.. and wait. (FYI: I´m with the German agency "AIFS" and the American "Au Pair in America"). After four month of getting my stuff done and wait until the agency accepted everything I´ve got my first message from a host family (my host family). One year online studies - psychology

It has been a year since I started my online studies (psychology). The university is located in Hamburg, Germany and works – obviously – online. The studies start with a semiar for 2 days in Hamburg, where you get some information about how everything works and you´re able to meet some of your classmates. They send you all the paperwork you´ll need for the next months to work on, you have an online campus to contact other students, to see your grades, see the dates for a possible exam you want to go to etc. Some of your stuff you´ll have to study is online in an E-book – what I actually don´t like – I like to mark stuff and take notes and that is just easier in a real book. Most of the univerisity books are really good written and good to understand, esspecially if you haven´t had that stuff in school before.
